I’m looking for a specific starter/alternator to use in a vehicle on which I am working. But there’s no part cross-reference on your site! How can I tell if Pro Rebuilders has the correct part I need in stock?

Good question! We don’t post or maintain an online cross reference for a couple of reasons. Since virtually all starters and alternators share many basic components, we can easily rebuild almost any part you need on very short notice. We keep an enormous inventory of components in stock, and our typical rebuild time is very fast. Just use our Contact page to send us a list of what you need, and we’ll get back to you quickly. We’re on a tight deadline for most of our repair work. How can we arrange for delivery of our order from Pro Rebuilders, and how long does it take?

For our commercial accounts, we maintain a large delivery fleet. That means that once your order is ready to go, we can have it to you in a matter of just a few hours. Please note that this service is for our commercial customers only.

What kind of warranty does Pro Rebuilders provide for rebuilt components?

For our remanufactured components, we offer our standard 2 year guarantee. For items we repair, we have a 90-day guarantee.

I’m trying to figure out what’s going on with my vehicle’s electrical system. I think that maybe the starter’s not working correctly. Can you help?

Sure! Here’s where Pro Rebuilders really shines as compared to the average level of “expertise” found at at a big-box parts outlet. Our skilled technicians will test and diagnose problems on any automotive starter, alternator, or motor you bring in to our facility – and we’ll report back the results to you. Then you can make an informed decision about how to go about fixing your equipment, instead of just having to guess or to just swap parts in and out trying to isolate the bad component (We don’t offer any disassembly or reassembly service, so you’ll need to remove the part you need us to evaluate, first.)

My classic car has a defective alternator. Can you rebuild it?

Absolutely! With our huge inventory of replacement parts and the ablity to correctly diagnose and repair your OEM starter, we can have your classic vehicle’s starter rebuilt to factory specs – or better – in a short time. You can also realize a substantial savings over having to replace the old part. With a Pro Rebuilders remanufactured unit, you can maintain the correct number-matching on your original alternator, for instance, to help maintain your classic vehicle’s value.
